This five-room chalet is part of the Schöneben holiday village in Wald im Pinzgau. This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount. The detached holiday home has its own sauna where you can relax after a long, active day in the Austrian mountains. The cosy, attractively furnished living room has a sitting area with an Austrian tile stove and an adjoining covered balcony. There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen where you can enjoy a pleasant meal in the comfortable dining area. The four bedrooms are all on the ground floor, and each has a double bed. In two of these rooms, there is also an extra bunk bed. This holiday home offers everything you would expect for a relaxing holiday in Austria. In winter, you can reach the Wildkogel Arena family ski resort by car in five minutes. Or alternatively, you could visit the larger Zillertal Arena ski complex, which is little more than a 15-minute drive away. There is a ski bus service within walking distance which will take you to either of these two ski areas for free. Whichever ski resort you choose, when you return home in the evening you can relax in the seating area in front of the fireplace with a good book, or just chat through your winter sports adventures of that day. You can use the sauna to help soothe your tired muscles, or take a refreshing dip (with the children) in the covered Kristall swimming pool. And if you don’t feel like cooking, there are plenty of good restaurants in the area where you can enjoy traditional Austrian cuisine! In summer, you can take the most beautiful walks right from the Chalet Schneerose! Whether you walk through the woods or along the flat valleys, this is a wonderful place to wander and take in the atmosphere. Along the way, you will come across many Gasthoven where you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy a drink and a snack. A chance to explore with an (electric) bicycle is definitely recommended! Or you could get the blood pumping even faster through your veins faster by signing up for an exciting canyoning trip, going on a guided climbing expedition, or zipping through the air on the Mega Flying Fox in the Zillertal Arena. Whether you’re a sporty type, adrenaline junkie, holidaying with young children, or just a relaxed bon viveur, there is always plenty to do in this region.
