The detached Chalet Schiffer is part of the Schöneben holiday village, located in Wald im Pinzgau. This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount. As you enter the apartment through the living area, you’ll find an attractively furnished living room with a typical Austrian tile stove, an open kitchen and an Austrian dining area. Here’s where you can start the day with a good breakfast, and then at the end of the day, spend some quality time with your friends or family. A stairway leads down to the floor below, where there are a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms. After an active day, you can fill the bathtub and just relax in a wonderfully warm bath. You can access the sunny, south-facing balcony from two sides of the living room, and there is also a staircase to the terrace from the lower floor. While on holiday, be sure to take a dip in the nearby Kristall swimming pool, which you can use for free during your stay in Chalet Schiffer! In winter, after a full day of winter sports out in the snow, you can all gather around the wood-fired tiled stove and chat through which of the two ski resorts you will visit the next day. Both the larger Zillertal Arena ski complex and the family-friendly Wildkogel Arena ski area can be easily reached by car, or via a ski bus. The ski bus service is free on presentation of your ski pass, and two cars can be parked under your chalet’s (snow-free) carport. You could also consider other winter activities such as winter hiking, tobogganing or snow tubing, and once a week a torch-lit walk is organised. This starts in the village of Krimml and ends at the famous Krimmler waterfalls, and will be a magical experience you will never forget. In summer, you can enjoy looking out on classic Austrian scenes from your balcony or the lower terrace—cows grazing in the pastures, or farmers using their tractors to farm the land in the fertile valley. Schöneben chalets are ideally located if you are planning trips, bike rides or walking routes, but the picturesque villages in this region are also very nice to explore! Or you could enjoy a day trip travelling to the town of Zell am See aboard the iconic Pinzgauer Lokalbahn railway.
