Chalet St Bernard is an impressive, luxury chalet in the quieter part of Tignes, in Les Brévières, where stylish living spaces of traditional chalet design combines with a whole host of modern spa facilities, ideal for a relaxing luxury ski holiday to snow sure Tignes. This chalet for 12 to 18 guests is ideal for larger family groups, given its close proximity to the village and slopes and its 6-person children's bunk room in addition to the 6 double bedrooms. Access to skiing couldn't be simpler, with the chalet being 200m or a 2 minute walk to the snow front. Here you will find the ski school meeting points, the Brévières gondola and a number of slope side restaurants.
As well as being a 3 minute walk from the nearest supermarket, the chalet is also only a few minutes away from the bars and restaurants that Tignes Les Brévières has on offer. For options further afield, Tignes Le Lac or Val d'Isère can both be reached in a 13-16 minute drive, using the electric vehicle included as part of your chalet package. The chalet though is so fab its just a shame to leave it at any time and more so if choosing the catered option with our outstanding chef!!
The chalet has been beautifully built, using the finest mix of traditional and modern features, which is most apparent in the open-plan living area on the chalet's top floor, where you will find the living, dining and kitchen areas. Here, you will discover vaulted ceilings, exposed beams of refined wood, a stone fireplace and a gloriously crafted live-edge dining table fit for up to 18 guests. Combine this with plush, designers sofas, stylish modern light fixtures, a fully-equipped modern kitchen and eye-catching ornamentation and you get a uniquely luxurious space to relax and dine in. A balcony at the end of the kitchen dining area allows you to escape to the fresh mountain air, with views of the foot of the slopes, the mountains leading down to Tignes Les Brévières and the charming village church.
On the ground floor on entrance to the chalet, you will find the wellness area. The space fits in a large number of therapy facilities, aiding rejuvenation and recovery on return from skiing, as well as being a soothing place to unwind. The futuristic-looking steel and glass hot tub is the main focus of this spa room, with a maple sauna and a Hammam rounding off the usual suspects. However, the spa also has a number of further treatment rooms available for guest use. These include a salt wall for halotherapy, an ice cabin with misting flakes for invigoration, and a four seasons sensory shower with music therapy.
On the chalet's first floor, a multi-purpose room with video screens is available for use. This room offers versatility in its function, whether it is for relaxing in front of a movie, playing board games together, or for corporate groups using this as a conference room.
The chalet can accommodate up to 18 guests in total. Spread between the first and second floors of the chalet, you will find 6 double/twin bedrooms. Wooden interiors, bright walls and soft beds give these a cosy mountain lodge feel without compromising on the luxuriousness. Most of these bedrooms also have balcony access, while all are completed by stunning contemporary shower rooms. The final bedroom, situated on the second floor, is the bunk room, with three sets of bunk bed sleeping up to 6 guests. While a perfect children's room for family groups, the beds are also large enough for adults who don't mind sharing together.
On the ground floor of the chalet, there is a ski locker, which is heated to keep your ski equipment warm and dry for the following day. You will also find laundry facilities adjacent. For your convenience, an internal elevator runs between the four floors of the chalet, so walking is an option!!
