You'll just need to cross the road (Route des Confins) from this stunning La Clusaz apartment to get to the Bossonnet ski lift and ski school - no traffic jams and no parking worries! And when you return at the end of a great day in the Aravis mountains, you can leave your ski equipment in your ground floor ski room and enjoy a short walk to the village for a well earned apres-ski beer. This quality apartment provides comfortable, contemporary accommodation for up to 10 guests (nine adults) in four bedrooms with three bathrooms. You won't need a car when you stay here but if you want to bring one, the apartment has a double garage with electric car chargers.

With the Bossonnet cable car and the meeting place for the ESF ski school just opposite the chalet, skiers of all abilities can ski in and out of this fabulous apartment.La Clusaz also has a great selection of bars, shops and restaurants, as well as a weekly market where you can pick up local produce. There are more shops and supermarkets in nearby pretty Thônes (12km) if you want to venture further afield and the medieval town of Annecy (32km), with its beautiful lake, is a great place for a day out.

When you arrive at this stylish apartment in the centre of La Clusaz, you'll appreciate having your own double garage if driving here. Just park your car up and head in to the ground floor, where you'll find your private ski room with boot warmer. Take the lift to level 2 - there is only one apartment per floor in this three-storey building, so the lift opens directly in to your hallway. There's a WC on your right and the spacious open-plan living area on your left.

Curl up on the cosy L-shaped sofa around the fire, or head to the separate TV room to watch a film on the Samsung Frame TV or read a book. The modern kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-range appliances and has everything you need to cook for a large group, (or let our chef do it for you). The large dining table has plenty of room for everyone to eat together, and there's a breakfast bar where you can just grab a quick snack before heading out.

The living area opens on to a spacious covered balcony with a wonderful view of the pistes and the gondola. There's room to sit out here and enjoy a meal, or perhaps a vin chaud or hot chocolate as you watch the weekly flood-lit descent. The chalet has four bedrooms: two double rooms with access to the balcony; another double room with a shower room and a family room with a double bed, a set of bunk beds and an en suite bathroom. There is also a separate shower room and WC. Three of the bedrooms have TV's.

The Aravis ski pass gives you access to 220km of pristine pistes in La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand and Manigod. The weekly flood-lit descent in La Clusaz is a must! The local ESF ski school meets for beginners’ lessons across from the apartment and cross-country skiers will find great terrain at Lac des Confin and the Glieres plateau, just a short drive or ski bus ride away.

Non-skiers will have no time to be bored either, with an ice-skating rink and cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the heated outdoor pool at La Clusaz, while the snow falls gently around you. But the Alps aren't just for winter, and this chalet is a great base for discovering this wonderful region at any time of year.

Walking or biking in the mountains is a pleasure, and all the hard work is done for you if you take the ski lift to the top and bike or walk down at your own pace - take a picnic and make a day of it, or treat yourself to lunch at a mountain restaurant, many of which are open all year round. Adrenalin junkies can try paragliding, canyoning, climbing, mountain-biking or white-water rafting. Via ferrata is a great family day out, with children as young as eight able to explore the mountains safely on iron walkways, secured to a harness.

There are several golf courses within an hour of La Clusaz, and children will love the outdoor swimming pools in La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand.
A day out in the medieval town of Annecy is a must - spend the morning exploring the shops and markets of this canalised town, enjoy lunch at a lakeside restaurant and then spend the afternoon on the beach or hire a boat and visit some of the beautiful villages around the lake.
