Chalet Soleil V is ideally located right next to the slopes and in the heart of Val Thorens and is a good choice for up to 10 people. The chalet apartment offers a fantastic option for groups or families wanting the best value for money in Europe’s highest ski resort. The 4 star duplex apartment is very comfortable and with a southern/south-eastern exposure, the apartment enjoys maximum sunshine and the mountain views are second to none. In terms of location, you are directly at the foot of the slopes and right by where the ski schools and ski area start, so convenience is A1. The local shops, bars and restaurants are just a snowballs throw away, so you really can make the most of all that Val Thorens has to offer. There is also a private car park situated under the building if driving here.

The apartment is designed in typical Savoyard fashion, with a fireplace and a traditional balcony. There is a flat screen TV in the lounge and the kitchen comes well equipped. There are no sofa beds, so you don’t have to worry about privacy for your group. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your reception team who have prepared the apartment with two towels per person, your beds made up for you, a welcome kit and your first bag of wood for the fireplace included. There is one free WiFi access for the apartment and your end of stay clean (except for the kitchen and dishes) is also included.

The 105m2 apartment is spread over 3 floors offering one double bedroom, 3 further bedrooms with twin beds and a smaller cabin bedroom (with less room for storage) with 2 bunk beds.There are then 4 bathrooms and 3 separate toilets. The wood burning fireplace in the living area is always a welcome feature, surrounded by comfortable furnishings and flat screen TV, opening out onto the balcony. The dining table seats 10 and the well equipped kitchen offers the usual expectations of fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, coffee maker and toaster. A morning fresh bread delivery service is also available. Offered self catered or with contactless catering to suit.

“We had a lovely stay and the duplex room was spacious, had a large balcony. The location of the chalet was great, with ski in and ski out, opposite a groceries shop and right in the town. The ski hire shop was in the property and well organised which was handy. You could also order pastries and fresh bread every morning from reception which was a bonus. Finally the staff were lovely and gave us free beers!”

El apartamento es grande y cómodo para 10 personas y está bien equipado. El edificio necesita mantenimiento. las escaleras estan mal estado, el calientabotas no funciona y la piscina deja mucho que desear en cuanto a limpieza y cuidado. Personal de recepción muy amable y dispuesto.
