Chalet des Neiges is very conveniently located in the pretty and traditional village of Châtel, just 250 metres from the centre and only 200 metres away from the slopes and the Super Châtel lift. You can ski from the Super Châtel area to either the Swiss part of Les Portes du Soleil or to the Linga / Pré-la-Joux area, which connects to Avoriaz / Morzine. In total you can enjoy in Les Portes du Soleil more than 650km of connected pistes!
In the centre of Châtel you can enjoy a drink at one of the many après-ski bars, but also the Forme d'O Centre Aquatique with its indoor pool and wellness facilities is definitely worth a visit especially if you have any children with you. In the centre you will also find a wide range of shops and restaurants, ski schools and a nursery. There are also various winter activities in and around the village, such as tobogganing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. In short, Châtel has all the ingredients for a successful winter sports holiday!
This excellent and luxurious chalet, spread over 3 floors, was built in 2015 and with its 6 bedrooms, makes it suitable for groups of up to 12 people. The chalet has a separate ‘wellness area’ with a jacuzzi and sauna, where you can relax after an active day! The spacious living room has two separate seating areas, one with a cosy wood burning fireplace. The chalet has complimentary Wi-Fi, a ski storage room and a garage with space for two cars. Outside the chalet there are two more parking spaces.
On the main level there is a large living room with a seating area with fireplace, TV and DVD player, second sitting area (for children), dining area and a fully equipped open plan kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, 3 coffee makers and dishwasher. Outside there is the 'garden house' with the whirlpool, sauna, shower and toilet. Furthermore, this chalet has a washing machine and dryer, so you can bring less with you!
Of the six bedrooms, three of them have a double bed (160 cm wide). One bedroom has another larger double bed (140 x 190 cm). The remaining two bedrooms each have two single beds (90 x 200 cm, which can be pushed together as a double bed). There are four bathrooms in total (three en-suite with a bedroom). Two bathrooms have a shower and toilet. One bathroom has a bath and toilet. The fourth bathroom has a shower and separate toilet. The chalet can be booked either self catered or on a catered half board basis with an excellent chef, subject to availability and is bookable only on a sole occupancy basis, Saturday to Saturday.
