Chalet Frienets II is ideally located in Châtel, just 100 metres away from the centre and about 300 metres away from the ski slopes and the Super Châtel ski lift. In the authentic Savouyarde village of Châtel you will find a number of good restaurants, cafés and lively bars for some après-ski, as well as a number of shops, child care, ski schools and a wellness centre with an indoor pool. Ski buses drive in and around Châtel on a complimentary basis if you prefer.
Châtel is situated in a beautiful valley and is part of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area, with slopes for both beginners and experienced skiers.For freestylers there is a challenging fun park near the village. Children can learn skiing in a playful way at the Club Piou Piou, in a safe, fenced play-area. They can also go sledding on various toboggan runs. Any non-winter sports enthusiasts can also enjoy themselves in Châtel, with some good hiking trails and cross-country-walking facilities.
This is a large chalet, suitable for groups up to 19 people and has a comfortable, warm interior, a large professional kitchen, a large living room, Wi-Fi and a balcony. In addition, most bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The chalet also has some parking facilities if driving here.
This chalet is divided over three floors.
The ground floor sees the nicely furnished living room with spacious sitting area, TV with DVD- player and a large dining table. There is a large and well equipped open style kitchen with a fridge/freezer, microwave, large oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, fondue and raclette set, (filter) coffee machine and a Nespresso coffee machine. Moreover, there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and several balconies.
There are a total of eight bedrooms in the chalet on the first and second floors. There are two quad bedrooms, each with a double bed and two single beds, so ideal for families. There are then four bedrooms with two single beds, which can be pushed together as a double. One bedroom has a single bed and the final bedroom has a double bed. There are seven bathrooms, of which six are ensuite to a bedroom, each with a shower and a toilet, plus one separate toilet on the ground floor.
