If you're looking for the perfect base for a family holiday in the Alps, Alps III apartment is a great find - with many chalets catering for large groups, this superb apartment on the second floor of a chalet has plenty of room for six people. Situated in a quiet cul de sac, yet very convenient being just a seven minute walk or 1km from the busy village of La Clusaz, where you'll find a great choice of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a weekly market which offers local produce and crafts. If you prefer not to walk then the free shuttle bus stops just 150m from your door, and if you're visiting in the winter, it's just a few steps more to the Nant piste, 250m away, which takes you straight into the village.

This bright second-floor apartment in a quiet location sleeps six people in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms and with neutral colours and modern furniture, which compliment the apartment's traditional mountain style. The accommodation is all set on one floor of the chalet which has four other apartments. There's a wonderfully spacious open living and dining, area which spans the full width of the apartment and opens on to a sunny, south-facing balcony. It's a wonderful place to relax with your morning coffee, or perhaps watch the sunset over the Aravis mountains with a glass of wine.
In the small kitchen, which is separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar, it has everything you need to cook up a hearty dinner and there's a large fridge and dishwasher to make life easier. There are three bedrooms: a double with a Velux window and an en suite shower room; a twin bedded room and a single bedroom, both of which have mountains views. The apartment also has a garage and there's a ski room with a ski boot warmer and storage in the cellar.
If it’s great skiing you’re after, Alps III is a perfect choice with the Nant piste 250m away and from there it’s just a minute’s ski down to the ski school meeting point in Bossonet, La Clusaz. An Aravis ski pass will give you access to more than 200km of pistes in La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand and Manigod and there are plenty of cross-country trails to discover, too.
If you fancy a break from the slopes, there are plenty of other things to do, with an ice-skating rink and cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the village’s heated outdoor pool, while the snow falls silently around you.
If you're visiting in the summer, the apartments location just seven minutes walk from the village of La Clusaz means you won't have to rely on your car to explore everything the area has to offer. Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the telecabine ferry you and your bike to the top, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so there is always somewhere new to discover.
If you just want to relax, why not soak up the sun on the south-facing balcony as you admire the mountain views. Later, fire up the barbecue and plan the next glorious day in the Aravis as the sun sets behind the mountains.
