Praranger Chalet is an excellent and spacious, detached 9 bedroom chalet, built in 2002 and spread over 5 floors. The chalet is situated in a quiet area, at the border of Praranger, a characteristic little village close to Les Menuires. The chalet is well furnished well-appointed and has a private sauna, a wood burning fireplace, Wi-Fi and a balcony. Most bedrooms are equipped with an ensuite bathroom and therefore provide any privacy needed with the chalet offering a breath-taking view over the valley of Belleville.
The first ski lift is found 1500 metres away in the village of Le Bettaix. In the village, which is at the end of the blue piste, you will find a few bars, shops several restaurants. The ski bus stop is located 200 metres from the chalet and the bus will bring you to Les Menuires and/or to the ski lifts. Decent skiers can easily ski the off-piste route to reach the chalet, so for good skiers it does off a "ski in" solution.
The centre of Les Menuires is about 4 km from the chalet. In the centre of Les Menuires there are ski schools, a daycare, a movie theatre, an indoor swimming pool and numerous restaurants and après-ski bars. The chalet has parking places if driving here and there is a morning fresh bread delivery service available upon request.
There is a spacious living room with sitting area around the fireplace, a satellite TV with DVD player and a dining area for 26 persons. The big windows in the livingroom offer an amazing, panoramic view. The big, open kitchen has hotplates, two ovens, two microwaves, two dishwashers and two fridges (of which one big American-style with freezer and ice cube maker). In the basement of the chalet, there is a relaxation area with a sauna and two showers, a washer/dryer and a ski and boot room with a ski boot dryer/heater.
As for the bedding then four bedrooms have two single beds in each. Two bedrooms have three single beds. One large bedroom has two single beds, a small sitting area, two bunk beds and a pull-out bed (from this room you can reach the big terrace). One bedroom has a double bed. At the mezzanine area (limited standing height) you'll find five more single beds. In total there are eight bathrooms, of which five have a shower and toilet and three bathrooms with a shower. There are also three separate toilets.
An excellent choice for up to 26.
