Chalet de la Lune is one of the excellent chalets in a lovely area of luxuriously designed and built chalets and chalet apartments in the family friendly mountain village of Saint Martin de Belleville. This unique chalet park area was built in 2018 and is in a perfect location, directly on the blue slope and right above the gondola ski lift, Saint Martin 1, which allows for this being a ski-in & ski-out option with the gondola connecting to the slopes taking you to the ski resorts of Les Menuires, Méribel and further on to Val Thorens and Courchevel.
The authentic and traditional village of St. Martin de Belleville has a pretty village centre with all necessary facilities such as a supermarket, several shops and restaurants found just 500 metres from the chalet. Ski lessons start directly at the gondola so in the morning you can measure bed to ski slopes in a few minutes.
On the park there are several facilities such as restaurant Simple & Meilleur, open from lunchtime for good food and snack bar Bell'Savoie for fresh bread and various snacks. Besides the restaurant you have slope side access to the to gondola. There are apartments for 6 to 16 people, some, like this one, with its own private sauna and jacuzzi. The chalets are spacious and modern and can be offered either self catered or catered to suit and our chef here is quite something, so half board catering is recommended.
This 8 bedroom, 210m2 chalet is unusual as it offers three living rooms and two kitchens, being 2 directly linked apartments, so it is ideal for large groups, especially those mixed with children.
On the ground floor you'll find the entrance, a very spacious and luxurious living room with large windows and a welcoming sitting area with a wood burning stove, large dining area and well equipped open style kitchen with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, two dishwashers, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and wine fridge. From the living room you have access to the terrace, where from the jacuzzi you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Sit in the bubbles whilst sipping some bubbles perhaps!!
On the first floor there is a small second living room with a TV and a view of the living room through the large windows. there is also a bedroom on this floor with a double bed, closet space, desk and en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet.
On the lower ground floor there are four bedrooms, three with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, (two with shower and toilet and one with bath and toilet). The fourth bedroom has two single beds and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. On this floor there is a sauna and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.
Moving down another level is the third living room with a sitting area, TV, second smaller dining area and open plan kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and washing machine. There are three further bedrooms, one with two single beds and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. The second bathroom on this level is independent and has a bath and toilet, this making a total of 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms plus one extra toilet on the ground floor. We have no doubt you will enjoy staying here, as many do.
