The total capacity of the chalet is 20 and each of the bedrooms is en suite with its own bathroom and WC. The chalet is spread over 3 levels and is 350 m2 in size. The dining room and living room of the chalet are spacious enough for everyone to eat and chat together. The dining table is very long and can accommodate without extensions, nearly 30 guests. As for the bedrooms then 3 are double en suites, 2 bedrooms being twins en suite, 2 bedrooms being triples with 3 single beds en suite and one bedroom hosting 7 single beds, en suite.
The chalet is uniquely located on the quietist part of Chatel, around 750 metres ( or less than a 10 minute walk) from the village centre and its restaurants, bars, shops etc. To access the pistes you have two options. You can either take the Barbossine chair lift close to the chalet, 250m away or take the "ski bus" in front of the chalet to join the Linga lift a few minutes away. If driving here you can leave your car for your stay in the large private parking area of the chalet. The parking area holds up to 12 cars.
ln the chalet you can also enjoy the "Scandinavian relaxation experience", around the sauna and hot tub. After a cold day ln the mountains, enjoy and relax in the hot bath and let your body soak up the heat ready to face up the cold weather, after a quick roll in the snow....yes seriously try it! Very invigorating.
On the practical side, the chalet is very well equipped for a large group, all the facilities being modern and comfortable, equivalent to a 5 star accommodation, with raclette and fondu appliance, wireless internet, smart TV, ski boot dryers, ski box. Each bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer. The chalet welcome pets if agreement has been made at the time of booking. Offered self catered or with half board catering to suit if you have a large group you should give this serious consideration, with discounted ski passes, ski hire and airport transfers all being options to add on later.
