Chalet Snow is well located for the slopes and centre, being conveniently in Le Hameau des Marmottes chalet complex, between two blue slopes, in Preyerand - Les Menuires. This location makes it easy for you to get on your way in the morning and back to the chalet at the end of the day offering a true ski in ski out option all season! The chair lifts of Tortellet and Le Bettex are in direct proximity of the chalets and can be reached on skis via the easy blue slopes. The centre of Les Menuires can easily be reached with the "Preyerand" lift (also operational in the evening). There's a free ski bus that takes you through the centre and the area (one bus stop is situated at the bottom of the complex and there is one bus stop at the top).
The park has 22 spacious, detached, individual chalets and three larger chalet buildings that each house about 12 luxurious apartments. All chalets are privately owned and therefore the interior differs per chalet.They are all though stylishly built with a lot of wood, each one having a big balcony and free Wi-Fi. This one is tastefully furnished.
The chalet can be booked with half board catering at the chalet or self catered and there is a bakery close to the chalet where you can also order a morning bread delivery service, if booking self catered. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance from the chalet, a small supermarket and a ski rental shop. The ski school is at the centre of Les Menuires, where you have a wide selection of restaurants with beautifully sunny terraces and several bars for some great après-ski. The village also has more supermarkets, specialty shops, more ski rentals, ski schools, daycare, a covered swimming pool and wellness facilities.
The blue "Bettex" slope runs in front of the chalet. Skiing to your front door can be guaranteed pretty much for the entire season. In the morning you can take this blue slope to Bettex. From there on you can take the new, fast chairlift to a pretty easy slope to reach the centre of Les Menuires. At the end of the day you can take the blue slope through the centre of Les Menuires back to your front door.
Layout
On ground floor there is a large and cosy living room with two sitting areas; one at the fireplace and one at the television. The spacious sitting area at the fireplace has a luxurious, leather corner sofa and comfortable armchairs. The sitting area around the TV has a large leather sofa and a boss sound system with blue-tooth. In addition, there is another sitting area with a smart-satellite television, Blu-Ray player, a touch screen video game and a large leather couch with a long lounge sofa. The kitchen comes well equipped with five induction hotplates, a microwave, an oven, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine.
From the living room you have direct access to the spacious balcony with nine lounge chairs and a cooler box; a seat where you can store drinks and food. The balcony is facing south, offering a stunning view over the valley and the slopes. On this floor there is a separate toilet and there is also a ski locker at the front door and a ski boot dryer for 12 pairs of ski boots.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms, each having two single box spring beds. There are two bathrooms on this floor, one with a shower and toilet and one with a bath and toilet.
On the ground floor you will find three further bedrooms, two of which have two single box spring beds and en-suite bathroom with shower. The third bedroom has two single box spring beds and a bunk bed. The third bathroom on this floor consists of a infrared sauna, shower and toilet. On this floor you will also find a washing machine and a dryer.
