Chalet de Bellecote VII is situated in the car free Chalets de Bellecote park, between 2 blue pistes, so as you put on your skis or boards and step out of the chalet, you are on the piste, making this a proper ski-in and ski-out chalet! In the morning you take the short red "Morey" slope to the centre, or choose a shortcut via the blue "Liaison Grizzly" that ends at the "Grizzly 68" chairlift. This way you can avoid the crowds at the lift in the centre.
The car-free chaletpark 'Les Chalets de Bellecôte' consists of 25 spacious, very comfortable individual chalets and is situated just above the centre of Vallandry, 400m away, enabling you to ski the enormous Les Arcs skiing area with over 200 km of pistes and further over into La Plagne, doubling the skiable area on the pass. From all chalet you have a beautiful view on the Mont Blanc, over the valley and on the slopes of Les Coches (skiing area of La Plagne), situated on the across the valley.Vallandry itself has many traditional Savoyard building and wooden chalets, offering a more unique and welcoming atmosphere and where you can find ski schools, day care, ski rental shops, supermarkets, après-ski bars, shops with local specialities, a bakery and a few restaurants.If driving here there are free public parking spots at the entrance of the chalet park. It's also possible to park in the garage which requires an additional fee, subject to availability and can only be booked on site). You can't reach the chalet by car, but your luggage is brought to the chalet with a quad bike transportation system.
At the chalet the large open plan living area incorporates a very comfortable lounge, wood burning fireplace, dining area and kitchen, with a 270° view. There are 3 balconies on different levels, one off the lounge overlooking the piste that runs next to the chalet and over to the North Face of the Bellecote glacier. The other 2 look out towards the Isere valley and towards La Plagne.
On entering the chalet there is an entrance with a separate toilet. From the entrance you have access to the spacious ski storage room with the ski boot dryer. The ski storage also provides direct access to the slopes. Following on you have the spacious living room with high ceiling, very comfy sitting area, satellite TV and fireplace, plus a large 14-person dining area. The well equipped kitchen has hotplates, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher. From the living room you have access to a generous balcony with unique views over Vallandry, the slopes and the surrounding mountain peaks.
From the living room you reach the first floor where there are four bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds and en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet. Bedroom 3 also has two single beds and further sleeping on the mezzanine (bedroom 4)having four single beds. There is also a third bathroom with shower and separate toilet. On this floor you will also find the private sauna, washing machine and dryer.
The second floor is also accessible from the living room. On this floor you will find three further bedrooms with twin beds in each plus a bathroom with a bath and separate toilet. Although the chalet has 16 beds, the maximum occupancy is 14 with the chalet being offered self catered or on a catered half board basis to suit..
