The recently built chalet Julia is in a great location, on Rue du Plein Air, just below the centre of Les Menuires, 25 metres from a blue slope from where you ski over to the Tortollet chair lift and the Rocher Noir lift. The chair lift takes just a few minutes to get to the Les Menuires centre, from where ski lifts go to Col de la Chambre and the 3 Marches. From here you can further explore the Les Trois Vallées ski area. The Rocher Noir lift will take you over to the Point de la Masse, where you'll find many suitable slopes. Just so much to see and ski!
The 'Preyerand' passenger lift is located just across from the chalet, on the other side of the slopes, about a 5 minute walk away. This lift will get you to the centre of Les Menuires during the day and evening, where you have a wide selection of restaurants and several bars for a great après-ski time. The village also has supermarkets, specialty shops, ski rentals, ski schools, daycare, a covered swimming pool and wellness facilities. Within 200 metres from the chalet there are some restaurants, shops and ski rentals with restaurant La Ruade being directly next to the chalet and the closest dining option.This restaurant has a big, sunny terrace and a huge fire place. It offers local specials and international dishes.
Six chalet-apartments have been built here, those being being an 8-person apartment, two 10-person apartments, two 12-person apartments and one 14-person apartment and this one has 6 bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 and offered either on a catered or self catered basis to suit. The chalet-apartments are nicely furnished and each have their own Wi-Fi and various balconies. All bedrooms have their own bathroom and if driving here there are plenty of free parking facilities.
The chalet-apartment is divided over two floors. The entrance is on the ground floor.
The living room is found on the ground floor, furnished with lots of wood. The living room is nicely furnished and has a nice and comfortable sitting area with satellite TV, DVD player, a dining table and a well equipped open kitchen, with hotplates, a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and an electric kettle. The chalet has Wi-Fi internet connection and two balconies with a beautiful, unobstructed view.
As for the sleeping then two bedrooms are on the ground floor with two single beds each and an en-suite bathroom, of which one with shower and toilet and one with shower. Four bedrooms are on the first floor, of which three have two single beds and one has a double bed. These bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with a shower. On each floor there is a separate toilet. The entrance has a ski boot dryer for 12 pairs of bootss and you can store your skis and snowboards in the ski locker next to the front door. All in all as convenient a chalet option as you can find if you want to measure bed to slopes in minutes!!
