Chalet Anabel is an 8 bedroom chalet ideally located in the Le Hameau des Marmottes chalet park which is situated between two easy blue slopes in the Preyerand area of Les Menuires. This convenient location makes it easy for you to get on your way in the morning and ski back to the chalet at the end of the day! The chair lifts of Tortellet and Le Bettex are in the direct proximity of the chalet and can be reached on your skis, again via the easy blue slopes. The centre of Les Menuires can also easily be reached with the "Preyerand" lift which is operational in the evening. There's also a free ski bus that takes you through the centre and the area (one bus stop is situated at the bottom of the complex and another bus stop at the top.
The park accommodates 22 spacious, detached, quality chalets, which are all stylishly built with a lot of wood, each one having a big balcony and complimentary Wi-Fi and are tastefully furnished. There is a bakery close to the chalet park where you can order a morning fresh bread delivery service. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance from the chalet, a small supermarket and a ski rental shop. The ski school is in the centre of Les Menuires, where you have a wider selection of restaurants with sunny terraces and numerous bars for a great après-ski. The village also has more supermarkets, specialty shops, ski rental shops, ski schools, daycare and an excellent covered swimming pool with wellness facilities. If driving here your car can be parked at one of the parking places inside the chalet park.
This chalet is situated in the upper part of the chalet park where the blue "Bettex" slope runs along the chalet. Skiing up to your front door is almost guaranteed during the entire season. In the morning take the blue slope to the Tortollet chair lift, which will take you to the centre of Les Menuires. You could also take the Rocher Noir chair lift which is situated next to the Tortollet lift. The Rocher Noir lift will take you up the Pointe de la Masse, which is probably most beautiful part of the ski area where the sun shows itself first in the morning. Here you can enjoy blue and red slopes and an ideal area for families!
The chalet itself offers a bright and comfortable living area on the ground floor level with a natural stone wood burning fire place, TV & DVD-player. This area is suitable for 10 persons and others can join by adding a dining chair. The dining table is big enough for 16 persons to dine together which is adjacent to the well equipped kitchen with a hob, an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, microwave, electric kettle and a dishwasher. From the living room you have direct access to the large balcony with a fantastic view over the slope and surrounding mountains.
On the ground floor there is one bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. On the lower ground floor there are four bedrooms, of which three have two single beds and one bedroom has a double bed. All bedrooms here have en-suite bathrooms, of which two have a shower and two bathrooms have a shower and a toilet. There is a separate toilet on this floor as well.
On the top floor there are a further three bedrooms each with two single beds plus two bathrooms, with one having a shower and toilet and one bathroom having a bath and toilet.
On the outside of the chalet, close to the front door there is a ski storage area, with your ski boots being stored in the cabinet behind the front door. The bench under the covered entrance makes it easy and comfortable to put on and take off your shoes. All in all an excellent ski in ski out option for up to 16 at a good price in the famous 3 Valleys ski area, with flexible catering options.
