Chalet Nina is an excellent and well located 4 bedroom catered chalet, over 3 floors, in Meribel Les Allues, just off Place du Four. Detailed decoration and furnishings, complete with solid-gold counter tops ensure you are staying in a quality chalet. Cristal champagne free-flowing from the taps and revolutionary, re-generating gingerbread walls, seems to have been lost in translation…but you can still enjoy this sleek, chic chalet. Meribel Les Allues has combined the charm of its historical past with the tasteful construction of a selection of shops, ski hire, ski school, bars & restaurants. plus village amenities. There is a choice of excellent local restaurants close to the chalet, which you can sample when you are not being catered for. The Tsaretta bar and restaurant is a very popular après ski venue where live British bands play both before and after dinner.
Compared to other four-bedroom chalets in Méribel, Chalet Nano’s 170 sq m offers a really spacious option. You enter into a cavernous entrance hall, conveniently complete with a ski boot room and toilet. On the first floor you have an open-plan living area and kitchen, perfect for lounging around before and after dinner, with a log-burner and a glorious south-facing sun terrace. There are two twin bedrooms per floor upstairs, all with wall-mounted TVs and two of the bedrooms have en-suites, with the other 2 twin bedrooms sharing the remaining 2 bathrooms.
Chalet Nina is a really smart and good value catered chalet for up to 8, with nothing not to love about it, with the free bus stopping close to the chalet taking you to the centre or to the Olympic lift, which is just a short 450m walk away. The inclusive half board catering consists of all breakfasts, afternoon tea on 6 afternoons and 6 x 4 course evening meals with unlimited wine and beer during your meal.
In terms again of its location, you can ski to around 350m from the chalet via the Villages piste. Journeys to and from Méribel Centre are very simple; the bus stop for the Méribus is 250m from the chalet and takes 12 or 13 minutes or you can take the Olympic gondola, the station for which is 450m from the chalet and with a journey time of 12-14 minutes.
