This recently built chalet (2015) is situated in Châtel, part of the huge ski area of Les Portes du Soleil. This luxury chalet, spread over 3 floors, is large enough for parties of up to 18 persons and has an outside jacuzzi. Just 100 metre away you have the slopes and the Linga lift, which will take you into the ski area towards Avoriaz and Morzine. At the lift you can also find some sport shops, restaurants, a ski school and the ski bus stop, where the ski bus departs every 15 minutes to take you to the centre of Châtel, 2.5km away.
The pretty centre of Châtel has an array of restaurants, bars and shops and it has a child daycare centre. At the Forme d'O wellness centre you can relax in one of the sauna's, steam baths, hot tubs or the indoor swimming pool. Other activities outside skiing or snowboarding to do in Châtel are tobogganing, ice skating, cross country skiing and hiking.
The chalet has a wood burning stove, a laundry room, a balcony and it has a Wi-Fi. Outside at the covered terrace you will find the jacuzzi, where you can relax and chill out after an active day in the snow. Your skiing and snowboarding equipment can be stored in your private ski storage room, which also has a ski boot dryer. Cars can be parked directly at the chalet. Pretty handily on the ground floor of the chalet you will find a small ski and rental shop. The entrance of the chalet is at the side of the building.
The chalet has a cosy lounge area with a wood burning stove, a large dining table and a well equipped kitchen with a hob, a fridge/freezer, microwave-grill, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, fondue set and raclette set. The chalet also offers a washing machine and tumble dryer, a Wii-game console and Hi-Fi system.
There is a total of 8 bedrooms. Four bedrooms have twin beds, two bedrooms have a double bed each and a mezzanine has two single beds. The second mezzanine has four single beds, a TV and a DVD-player. There are then five full bathrooms with a shower and toilet each, plus two separate toilets.The chalet sleeps 16 though there is bedding for more and offered self catered or with half board catering to suit and only offered with sole occupancy on a Saturday to Saturday basis.
