Chalet Lauren is ideally located on Route du Petit Chatel, just outside the centre of the pretty village of Châtel, 300m away and with its 5 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, spread over 3 floors, it is an excellent and spacious 300m2 chalet for larger groups of up to 16 wanting either a self catered or catered chalet option. From the chalet it is about 350m walk to the slopes and the Super Châtel gondola. Châtel, with mainly blue and red runs, is especially good for beginner and intermediate skiers, as well as children, who will have a great time. This area also has a practice area, fun park and connects into the huge area of the Les Portes du Soleil. The Linga lift and Pré-la-Joux chairlift take you over to Morzine and Avoriaz, where you will find some challenging pistes. In the centre of Châtel, about a 300m walk away, you will find numerous bars for any après-ski, as well as a wide range of shops and restaurants and an indoor swimming pool, childcare and ski schools.
After an active day on the pistes it is great to return to your luxury chalet, where you will find your own outdoor (covered) jacuzzi on the terrace and the private sauna, which both offer you a way to relax after an active day. Enjoy a nice drink by the wood burning fireplace or have fun with a game of billiards or table football in the playrooms. Facilities here also include a ski storage room with ski boot dryer, fitness room, laundry room and Wi-Fi. The garage has parking space for two cars and outside there is parking space for another four cars.
The chalet offers comfortable living rooms with two comfortable sitting areas, satellite TV, DVD player, fireplace, dining table and a large, well equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar, including two 4-burner hobs, two fridge/freezers, oven, two microwaves, two dishwashers, two fondue sets, two raclette sets, Nespresso coffee machine and yes even a beer pump complete with a 20-litre cask of beer included.....refillable at € 60.00. There is also a games room with a sitting area with a TV and playstation 3, table football and a billiard room with more seating area. With all the seating in different areas, this means that adults can keep some privacy away from any kids, whilst still knowing where they are!!
As for the sleeping arrangements, there are 5 bedrooms in total. Two bedrooms each have a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and WC. One bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and WC. The fourth bedroom sleeps 4 with a double bed, bunk beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower and WC. The 5th bedroom has six single beds and two en-suite bathrooms each with shower and WC. There is a shower and WC in the gym area and another shower and separate WC in the sauna room.All bedrooms have a TV and safe. With its quality, location and flexible catering options, you can't fail but have a great time here.
