Chalet Lou is a superb 105m2 chalet/apartment in Les Menuires, offering a very convenient location. The easy blue ''Bettex" slope runs across from the chalet, so you can be on the slopes very quickly in the morning to explore the huge ski area of Les Trois Vallées. The Bettex slope will take you to the "Tortollet" and "Rocher Noir" chair lifts. The Tortollet lift ends just above the "La Croisette" centre of Les Menuires and is ideal for beginners wanting ski school. After an active day in the snow you will also be back home in a jiffy using the same slope. There is a pizzeria next to the chalet too and for those who like freshly baked bread in the morning there is a bakery as well and helpful if self catering or part catering.The chalet can be booked with half board catering, self catered or with an ever popular pre cooked and "delivered" 3 course meal option, for you to reheat and eat.
If you want groceries, go to a ski rental shop, or would like to grab a bite and a drink you can go to the mall in the Preyerand area which is just 600 metres away. If you'd rather go to the La Croisette centre of Les Menuires that's possible too, via the pistes and chairlift, or by taking the free ski bus which stops at front door of the chalet. In this centre you will find many options in the "ski-bowl" of Les Menuires. It's a great place for a nice lunch with a good view over the beginners area, slopes and lifts!
Chalet Layout
This apartment is divided over two floors, with a spacious living room with a sitting area with television and DVD player, wood burning fireplace, dining table and a fully equipped open kitchen including a ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, raclette set and dishwasher. Furthermore, this apartment has a private sauna, a heated ski room, Wi-Fi and several balconies.
Of the 4 bedrooms, three bedrooms each have twin beds. One bedroom has a double and a single bed. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite, two with a shower and one with bath and WC, with heated floors. The fourth bathroom has a shower and WC and there is an extra and separate toilet next to the sauna. Definitely a great choice in one of the highest and snow sure ski areas in Europe.
