Situated in the picturesque French alpine village of Les Gets, Nomad is a traditional chalet with panoramic views of the resort. The chalet is fully equipped for all the needs of a family holiday and is within easy walking distance of the village centre. Nomad is the 'Wallington family's' French home. You will find photo's and belonging scattered around which give Nomad a feeling of warmth. Summer or winter, its a relaxing retreat in the mountains.
Nomad has 5 bedrooms - two twin rooms and one double room on the top floor and two x 4 man bunk rooms on the bottom floor; maximum occupancy 14. There are two bathrooms ( with shower, bath, sink and loo ) on the top floor, a loo on the middle floor and a bathroom on the bottom floor with double sink, bath, shower and loo.
Nomad is situated on the Mt Chery side of the village overlooking the village and Chavannes ski slopes. It is 700m from the centre of the village and ski lifts. The ski shops in the village all have ski rooms where you can leave your boots and ski’s overnight so you don’t have to carry them back to the chalet. Nomad is approximately one hour from Geneva by car / transfer.
There is a DVD player and TV ( including UK Freeview ) in the play room as well as a table tennis table. I am afraid that the small library of DVD’s that we had has been diminished/lost/scratched over the course of time so please do bring any DVD’s out with you that you would like to watch. Our agents also have a free DVD library. There is a stereo in the sitting room that plays CD’s and has an i-pod docking station, as well as wifi (free) and a selection of games and books. Please feel free to add to the selection but we would ask you not to remove any!
Cleaning - The chalet will be cleaned before your arrival but we do expect it to be left in a clean and tidy state on your departure. If you would like additional help cleaning either during your stay or on the final day this can be booked through our agents on the booking form. The chalet also has an ironing board and iron.
Childrens equipment. - There is a child's high chair and travel cot for guests use. There is also a small amount of children's cutlery.
