Chalet Jean is a family owned ski chalet located in the beautiful village of Grimentz, Switzerland. Chalet Jean offers spacious accommodation including five bedrooms, five bathrooms with showers (two are en-suites with showers and baths). Sleeping up to 12 across three floors, with outside terracing and balconies on all levels, steam room, boot room and stunning views. Chalet Jean is perfect to rent for both winter skiing and summer activities.
Chalet Jean is available self catered, however we have teamed up with a local company Valet d'Annivers. Valet d'Annivers has a delicious menu available of home cooked foods that can be delivered directly to you. Using their catering packages gives you many of the benefits of a fully catered chalet while still giving you extra flexibility you enjoy when you are self catered. Valet d'Annivers also provide a full range of concierge services along with providing babysitting / childcare, delivery of a weekly shop, organising your ski passes or arrange guided mountain walks.

Chalet Jean is part of the prestigious Les Flives development, finished entirely in old wood giving the traditional Swiss Chalet feel. The chalet is suitable for parties from as small as 2 up to 12 with living areas over three spacious floors. There are five bedrooms, 2 are en-suite and there are a further three separate bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a large living room with a fireplace, with double height ceilings in both the living and dining area which can seat 12. The living room has flat screen TV DVD and WiFi Internet connection.
In the garden, terrace and balconies, coffee tables and chairs are provided. On the master bedroom top floor balcony there are chairs and a coffee table. On the second floor terrace and balconies there is a cosy two seater chair, a bench, and an outside dining area which is under cover. On the first floor level there are two chairs, a bench and a casual table. In the summer there are various sun loungers.
The chalet has spectacular views over the snow-covered peaks, being an easy 10 minute stroll to the centre of the old village and chairlift. Alternatively there is a free regular ski bus directly to the village during the winter season.
Grimentz has the charm of a 15th century skiing village hosting a varied skiing area, but with a family atmosphere of bygone days and described by Where to Ski and Snowboard as "Europe's best kept secret" and an "undiscovered gem". Grimentz and neighbouring Zinal, St Luc and Vercorn are easily reached from Geneva in two hours. These resorts lie as the crow flies between Verbier and Zermatt deep in the Swiss Alps and yet remain largely undiscovered.
Grimentz is located in the french speaking part of Switzerland amidst picturesque scenery, beautiful countryside with easy access to the slopes. Skiing in Grimentz and the Val d' Anniviers region provides access to 220km of skiing with one ski pass, which caterers for skiing, snowboarding and touring for the beginner to the experienced off piste skier.
