The 4 star Chalet Altitude VI is located on the heights and in the quiet area of Les Balcons in Val Thorens and is one of just 20 luxury apartments in a larger chalet building, which were completely renovated just a few years ago. This popular residence (and one of the better quality options in Val Thorens) is just 100 metres from the slopes and intermediate skiers can normally ski right back to the door, with beginners or novices walking from the lift/centre or catching the free shuttle the last 300m or so. The closest lift is the Cairn ski lift, 250m away.
This nicely styled apartment offers breath-taking views from the private balconies. The open plan kitchen comes well equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, a filter coffee machine, toaster and kettle as well as including a Nespresso machine for your morning coffee and the welcoming and spacious living area has a large flat screen digital TV and a wood burning stone fireplace for a more atmospheric setting and cosy vibe.
As for the sleeping arrangements there are 3 twin bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and one bunk bedroom, with 5 bathrooms, 3 with a shower, thus sleeping a max of 12. Bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning are all included with the chalet bookable on a self catered or optional catered half board basis with our excellent chef, to suit. If self catering fresh bread can be order from reception every morning.
Additionally there is a well-being area within the residence with a heated indoor pool and sauna for guests to enjoy. The neighbouring residence at “Val 2400" also has the acclaimed "Red Fox" pub (arguably the highest pub in Europe) and ski shop for easy convenience as well as l’Auberge, Ferme de Rosalie and La Cabane restaurants all just around 50m away
There is a ski and boot room with heated boot dryers for your convenience.If driving here there is covered parking on site which is around an extra 80 Euros for the week and must be pre booked. WiFi is provided throughout the building and in the apartment, on a complimentary basis. A great choice for any party of up to 12.
