Chalet Le Tadorne is a luxurious and spacious self catering alpine ski chalet in the heart of the Portes Du Soleil. The design is that of a traditional wooden alpine chalet but finished with high quality contemporary features. The chalet sleeps 14 (12 adults, 2 children) spread over three floors. The 4 bedrooms are all en suite with hairdryer and radio alarm.
The fully equipped kitchen area leads into a large dining area and sitting room with soft leather sofas, log burning fire and multimedia centre with TV, games console and surround sound system. UK TV channels are available.
Downstairs there is ski storage and boot warming facilities along with a washing machine and drying cupboard. For mountain bikers the garage is available for bike storage.
Outside there are terrace and decking areas and all year round there is an outdoor Canadian hot tub and a sauna.
Chalet Le Tadorne is the perfect base for a family holiday; winter or summer. It is a beautiful home, ideally placed in the winter for the slopes of the Portes du Soleil or for a warm weather break in the Alps whether you are mountain biking or walking or just want a beautiful tranquil setting. Chalet Le Tadorne enjoys a peaceful hillside location, a short walk or bus ride from the village with all the amenities of Châtel to hand but near the main ski and activity areas.
Detailed Chalet Layout:
Ground Floor:
Chalet Le Tadorne has ample off road parking. The front door leads into the hall which has shelves and cupboards for boots and coats. Off the hall is a door leading to the drying and boot warming cupboards and utility room with washing machine. Another then leads into the garage which has storage for skis or bikes. A further door off the hall leads to the sauna area and there is access to the outside and Canadian hot tub.
First Floor:
This floor is accessed via stairs from the hallway on the ground floor. The main living area consists of a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave combi oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, double sink, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, blender and full range of utensils, crockery, glasses and cutlery. Linked to the kitchen are the dining and lounge areas. The kitchen and dining areas have doors that lead outside onto the covered terrace and balcony. Also on this floor is a separate toilet and bedroom1 with en suite bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds along with a fitted wardrobe.
Second Floor:
A staircase from the dining area leads to 3 bedrooms on the second floor. Bedroom 2 (Mandarin) has an en suite and a plush double bed. Bedroom 3 (Sarcelle) has a similar en suite with bath and shower over. There is also a double bed and 3/4 size bunks ideal for children. Bedroom 4 (Colvert) has the same en suite facilities and has twin beds and bunks. All bedrooms have plenty of storage space.
