Ginchini Chalet - Traditional Bulgarian house with onsite Sauna

Our stay at the chalet was excellent , the hosts , chefs , drivers couldn’t do any more for us . The food was excellent every day and plenty of it . They answered any questions , advised on things to do just brilliant the whole week . The only thing I would say is it could do with a bit of an update and the living room is not big enough for 20 to sit in together maybe swap one of the bedrooms on that floor and turn into a living room and the now living room into a bedroom . Fantastic stay and would definitely go back 100%

Pleasing four separate families was never going to be easy, but Martin, Milen, Leanne, Vladimir, and their wonderful team of drivers, cooks and kitchen staff, went above and beyond to make this a fabulous week for us.
The food was great, and special mention has to go to Graham and Martin for their efforts catering for a gluten free diet.
It was a proper holiday, not needing to think about food planning, shopping, cooking or washing up!
It was handy having the ski shop next door, and no major issues, but it was a bit small, so limited in some sizes, but that was then sorted.

As it was half term, the slopes and lifts were really busy, and busier than previous years. The chalet hosts worked hard to get us up to the slopes to minimise the queues.

On the last night, we enjoyed a few drinks at the Happy End bar - loved it, and wish we had done it more!

Overall, a fab trip, and we now have the skiing bug!

We had a fabulous stay in Ginchini during the last week of the 2022 season. Martin was extremely helpful from our first contact in January 2021 and was super flexible when we had to cancel our Christmas 2021 trip and re-arrange to April 2022. The best part was not having to think about anything except flights - transfers, accommodation, food, ski hire, gondola shuttles, additional trips, restaurant recommendations for the chef's night off - it was truly relaxing. Ginchini was perfect for our group of 16 with plenty of space and comfy bedrooms. The food was excellent and there was always plenty to eat. We hadn't expected a full week's skiing in April but conditions were perfect and we were on the mountain every day. Vlad as our day to day host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. All in all we had a perfect holiday and the group were extremely impressed with everything about the trip. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you to Martin, Vlad, Graeme and the team again.

18 of us stayed at Ginchini Chalet. Right from the initial enquiry with Martin at Explore Bansko I was massively impressed with the service. Martin is so helpful, even with the many questions our group kept posing to me to ask! Martin and his team sorted loads out before arrival, then the transfer from Sofia was great, introductions, kit rental, chef plans was superb. The team could not do enough for us. We decided to pay the bit extra for the daily shuttles to and from slopes to avoid the gondola and we came back at different times and the team always tipped pit and collected us. The food was lovely and service within chalet was great. Cannot recommend enough! We had 9 adults and 9 kids, various ages.
