Apartment Gaillands North is a spacious, two-bedroom penthouse apartment with a massive south-facing terrace that looks straight up on Mont Blanc and Aiguille de Midi. It has arguably the best views in the Chamonix valley. At night you can watch climbers making their way to the Mont Blanc summit by head torch and in the day sunbath in privacy as there are no other buildings looking on to your space.

This apartment was refurbished in November 2013 and has a huge, wooden-floored living room with a dining table, sofa bed, TV and wood-fired stove with built in pizza oven.

The two bedrooms are both doubles and combined with the sofa bed and single bed in the huge lounge the apartment sleeps up to seven if required.

A fully equipped kitchen with a bathroom with a bath and shower finish off this beautiful apartment that, for its outstanding views and position, remains one of our most popular in the Chamonix valley.

Gaillands North apartment is a flat and easy ten minutes walk from Chamonix town centre, but the ski bus stops right outside to take you the three stops in.

There is a garage and plenty of off road parking dedicated to the apartment block and the popular and lively Le Vert Hotel is just across the road for nights out and food, if you don’t fancy cooking.

Once the snows melt, skis and snowboards are swapped for walking boots, trail running kit and rock climbing and mountaineering gear and from the end of May the resort switches gear into summer-mode. The valley and surrounded peaks are criss-crossed by well signposted footpaths and visitors can enjoy the impressive scenery in relative comfort by riding the valley’s chairlift system up high before starting their hike or climb.

If outdoor sports are not your thing, then don’t be put off. Come and stay during the Cosmo Jazz Festival, and enjoy a programme of daily concerts in spectacular mountain settings, or marvel at the strength of the climbers clinging to the overhanging artificial wall that is set up in the town centre during the World Cup, or just peruse the local produce on offer in the weekly market, enjoy the culinary delights of the many and varied restaurants and sip a glass of wine amidst some of the finest scenery in the world.

Tax de Sejour is non-included. (EUR 3 pp/per night)
A damages deposit of EUR 500 is also to be paid a couple of the days upon arrival and will be returned after a damages check is performed on you departure.
End of stay cleaning is not included and is an addition charge of EUR 200
You are allowed to bring your pet, there will be an additional Pet Fee of EUR 50, and we ask you to bring the bed and food bowls for your pets
