Luxurious extras such as outdoor hot tub, indoor sauna, playroom, library, your own kitchen with washing machine and a large ski room with heated boot driers. Described as 'truly fabulous' with its lovely family suites and stunning views, it really is a 'hidden gem' in the mountains. We believe your dining experience can make the difference between a good and a memorable holiday, so we've put lots of effort into creating a fantastic menu with local specialities and varied and unlimited great wines. Sat in the heart of Le Paradiski and beneath the world-famous Vanoise Express, our guests have over 425 Kms of pistes to choose from, as well as lots of activities for non-skiers or those just wishing to relax. This is a wonderfully equipped chalet set over 5 levels with stunning views of Mont Blanc fom the large private balconies.
There are 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, The lounge is bright and modern with cosy sofas and a large screen TV, with a surround sound cinema system. Afternnoon tea is served here. The Large Dining table is great for sociable get togethers and where breakfast and evening meals are served. We offer an option for a children's high tea. The Kids Playroom has Wii Console, XBox, DVDs, Games and Toys. With a large sofa it is a lovely space for the children. There is a multi games table with table football, pool, ping pong and table hockey.
We are well equipped to accept groups with Babies and have Travel Cots, Baby Bath, Bottle Warmer, Highchairs, Buggies, Changing Mat, Baby Back Carriers and sledges available.
There is a small library with gas fire and books - perfect for some adult quiet time. The Sauna is a cosy space within the chalet. It is large enough for 5-6 people and has a steam option, music, oils, a reclining area and Shower Room with atmospheric lighting.
All suites are en-suite and have bluetooth and UK Sockets. The Vanoise Suite is spacious with 1 Double bed and a bunk bed (separated by a curtain), large balcony, a shower room and a second bathroom. The Georgie Suite has 2 bedrooms separated by a sliding door with 5 beds. They can be set up as a double, 1 single and 1 bunk, or as 5 singles. There is an en-suite shower room. The Felix suite is lovely and bright with a large sunny balcony. It has 2 bedrooms and can either be set up as 2 doubles and a single or 5 singles. It is also en-suite. The Bertie suite has a double and a sofa-bed which can be converted. This room has the most stunning views in the Alps of Mont Blanc and is a favourite with its large balcony and little lounge area. It has a bathroom with shower. The Rosuel Suite is on the top floor and has a Double and a Single or 3 Singles and is ensuite with a bath. It is very cosy with great drop down views of the valley and a small kitchenette with its own fridge.
All balconies are spacious and have 2 chairs, a small table and Geraniums in the summer. Ashtrays can be provided.
Lots of personal touches throughout the chalet give the homely feel we hope to create so our guests feel quickly at ease and ready to attack those pistes.
The sunny guest terrace is to the front of the property and is accessed through the library. It has 2 large tables, chairs, parasols, Gas BBQ and stunning views down into the valley looking over Bourg St Maurice and onto the world famous Mont Blanc. It also hosts the hot tub !
The private car park right by the front door is ample for up to 5 cars and can be converted into a play area in the summer. There are also plenty of off road spaces for cars around the property.
The large well equipped kitchen is enjoyed by our Summer Self Catering guests and has all you could need to cater for a large group, including Fondue and Raclette sets and a breakfast bar. In the winter, the delicious meals are prepared here by your professional chef.
We have a large ski room which doubles as secure bike storage in the summer. It can fit up to 40 pairs of skis, it has heated boot driers and is where the ski and boot fitting takes place. There is also a well stocked workshop and tools can be loaned for bike maintenance.
The property is on a GR5 so it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking in the summer. In the winter it has a wonderful secluded feel with a steep garden for sledging. Being only a 10 minute walk to the village and 2 minutes to our local lounge bar, the chalet is ideally placed. It is only 5 mins to the new Spa and Pool Center. There is a complimentary navette which runs all day which can drop you outside the chalet. We also have our own complimentary navette for tired legs.
