Chalet Chocolat is a beautiful, boutique chalet in La Plagne Montchavin-les Coches. This new-build chalet is part of an exclusive development in Montchavin, located right by (a few steps away from!) the 'Les Coches' cable car, making it very easy to access the skiing, meeting for ski school, and coming back to the chalet during the day (no need to rely on a car or bus!)
Arranged spaciously over 4 floors, Chalet Chocolat uses a clever mix of local stone and wood to create an authentic yet contemporary feel. Every bedroom has a glorious view of Mont Blanc and the ensuite bathrooms are modern and stylish.
The large, open-plan kitchen/diner and lounge has stunning views of the mountains, with comfortable sofas arranged to create an area around the TV and fireplace. Plus a full-width balcony to enjoy both the glorious views and the bracing mountain air.
On the roof terrace of Chalet Chocolat is an outdoor hot tub, where you can enjoy a glass of champagne and gaze out at the stars.
Outside, there is a private garden, which is perfect for chilling in the spring & summer time.
Situated in Montchavin, which together with Les Coches makes Montchavin La Plagne, (one of the 10 resorts that make up La Plagne), Chalet Chocolat is opposite the Evolution2 shop (ideal for ski school and ski hire) and a few minutes walk from the resort centre with its shops, restaurants and bars.
There is secure underground car parking (2 spots), plus everything else you'd expect from a top-end chalet holiday - free wifi, roaring log-fire and plenty of comfy sofas.
LOCATION
Chalet Chocolat is based in Montchavin in La Plagne and is in a great location. It’s right opposite the Evolution2 shop (ideal for ski school and ski hire) and right by the ‘Les Coches’ cable car so very easy access to ski school meeting points. It is a very short and easy stroll into the family-friendly resort centre of Montchavin with its shops, restaurants and bars. There is secure underground car parking (2 spots) – so no need to spend all morning clearing snow off your car when you leave!
CATERED
During the winter ski season, the chalet is managed by Alpine365, a tour operator in its 15th year. We are the only company in Montchavin La-Plagne to only employ professional chefs with restaurant experience, and over the last 10 years, we have had the pleasure of employing chefs who have worked with Michelin starred chefs like Raymond Blanc; appeared on Masterchef the Professionals, and others that worked in fine dining establishments across the world. We provide restaurant quality, gourmet dining at affordable prices - and quantities to satisfy hungry skiers and snowboarders.
Chalet Chocolat comes with a professional chef & host, who look after the guests with breakfast, afternoon tea and 4-course dinners, with complimentary wine at dinner. Alpine365 organises transfers from airports or train stations, ski lessons, lift passes and ski hire.
SUMMER
During the summer and out of season months, the chalet is also available self-catered. Montchavin is a wonderful place to visit in the winter - plenty of mountain biking, walking, paragliding, swimming and relaxing!
