Great Skiing + Snowboarding with the easiest acces possible. Les Arcs has a good record for snow - even in mid April we could take our lift up to the top and find lovely snow! In summer: Swimming, Golf, Hiking, Cycling, Parcours, Paragliding
You will be in Aiguille Grive 3 and less than 50 metres from the Charmettoger chairlift! Easy access to the slopes and getting back is SO easy. In the block we have: a newly refurbished 'Fait tout' mini grocery store/pizzeria/bakery and bar, two ski rental options, a laundrette.
The main areas of Villard, Arc 1800 are a nearby supermarket, restaurants, cafes, specialist shops, physio centre and ski/snowboard equipment shops. In the summer it is just a 5 min walk to a golf club and in both seasons its 5 minutes to the swimming pool. Les Arcs is all about convenience and practicality. Lifts are easy to reach and you can ski or snowboard right to our back door. Whatever the weather or your taste, you can always reach good snow by means of an amazing network of lifts. Or you can take the Vanoise Express to La Plagne. There is a free bus service to Arcs 1600, Chantal and 2000.
You can eat out, find delicious takeaways, or cook using great ingredients from the shops. We have just updated the kitchen so now much easier to use if you want to stay inAiguille Grive is a group of apartment blocks built in the distinctive Alpine modernist style of Les Arcs, well planned, neat, thus the narrow Japanese style stairs. The whole resort is purposes built, the architect was Charlotte Periand a pupil of Corbusie
.
If you drive, there is an underground car park just opposite our apt block - ideally buy a ticket in advance - or you can take your car to 1600 where parking is free, get a bus back; You are unlikely to need your car during the week as Les Arcs is car free, but offers a free bus service.

About Les Arcs
A ski in ski apt. Perfect for serious skiiers. A classic mountain resort. Villard village a 5 minute walk, but a lovely bar/shop/eaterie just at the bottom of our building.
Building started in the 1960s at 1600. Our part was developed in the 1980s.

The lift is at our back door! The bar is at our 'feet'. What more could you want? Lots of bars and restaurants locally but far enough away not to bother you - our little area is nice and quiet

| Suitability notes | The apt is very easy to manage. Tenants leave any dry goods - rice, sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar etc [well that's not dry], hot chocolate- to make life easier for the next tenant. This is what I always wanted when we were renting. It just helps. I start a list at the beginning of the season and try to keep it up to date.. I leave cleaning equipment too as we are a self-clean apt - unless you wish to buy in a cleaner. Our agent, La Conciergerie des Montagnes offers all sorts of other services you can buy in as well such as linen and towels can be rented, daytime baby care and lots more - I will send you a link to their services. |

2 bedrooms, sleeps maximum of 6 people Bedroom 1: 4 single beds, 1 double bed, and 1 bunk bed This main room has the double bed, reading lights and a fantastic view in the morning of Mont Blanc. You can be serparated by a curtain if you want - there is also a trundle bed, two singles, one that slides out, good for younger children. Friends have also used these so that we can keep downstairs free of sleepers. Bedroom 2: 2 bunk beds I have selected '2' but it is one set of bunk beds in the coin montagne which everyone seem to refer to as a room - it isn't really but I have gone with the flow. We find the apt so neat: it is easy to cook, clean and get out to ski - nothing seems like too much trouble. |

In the summer months entertainments like tennis, table tennis, trampoline are all available in the resort. Mountain biking is very popular with families and the FREE Music Festival is popular with the older generation. The ski season opens with a Film Festival! And there many other winter activities through the season - in Villards there is a bowling alley, a swimming pool and lots of eateries and bars |
