About Marilleva 1400
Marilleva1400 is linked by Condola to Marilleva900, where you find train station in season.
Or arrive by motor vehicle and drive another 10km from Marilleva900 and Mezanna up the mountain (zig-zag tar road) to Marilleva1400. Although it is recommended for convenience sake that you have a motor vehicle (car), the Apartment at Residence Albaré can be reached by travelling first to Marilleva900 by train and then to Marilleva1400 by Condola (Cabine-lift). The ski-lifts to the first ski-slopes can be reached by foot - just about 150m walk and stair climbing from the apartment building (also where the ski-lockers are situated).
The slopes itself are well managed by the resort management. There are more than 230 km of slopes that is interconnecting 4 resorts, namely Marilleva1400, Madonna de Campiglio, Folgarida, and Groste.
Marilleva1400 (also Mezanna and Marilleva900) is located in Val de Sole in the Trentino area. Val de Sole means Valley of the Sun, so that is exactly what it is - lots of sun on the slopes!

Besides the fantastic skiing in the Italian Alps, the region is also famous for its summer vacation possibilities:
World Mountain biking races are held here and there are many off-road trails for the enthusiast - therefore also for the trail-runner, especially if you need to do a bit of altitude and hill training!! The mountains also have many well-marked and -mapped hiking trails for the outdoor enthusiast.
The winter Condolas/Cabines (ski lifts) are functioning in the summer season, so visitors can go up to the highest mountain peaks, where the snow never melts. Many of them allow bicycles in the lifts for the downhill extreme sporter. Locations of these are at Pejo, Groste, Passe del Tonale.
White water rafting is BIG in this region as the Noche river in the Valley is one of the top 10-rated white water rafting rivers in the world. Find quite a few companies offering this facility.
If you are interested in history, then you will not be disappointed with what this area offers. It is rich in ages of history, including castles and World War One museum and fords.
down is the valley, about 5 min drive from Mezanna, you will find an excellent horse riding school, which offers outrides for the experienced or inexperienced rider.
