Chalet Marron is converted barn that was our family home. It offers an spacious and private hideaway for families or groups of friends . Ideally suited for 8 people in 4 large rooms. We set up 'Tarentaise Properties' to rent this and other chalets in the area in 2016. Chalet Marron can sleep up to 12 if you are happy to share. Nestled in the hamlet of La Thuile just off the D902 which is the road that leads up to Val d'Isere and Tignes. La Thuile is between the village and the ski resort of Ste Foy Tarentaise. The ski resort and village can be accessed by shuttle bus which runs around every hour in the morning and evening . It takes around 5-10 minutes . The ski resorts of Val d'Isere and Tignes can be accessed via Tignes les Brevieres which is only 15 minutes away with free parking. La Plagne and Les Arcs can be accessed via Villaroger which has free parking just 10 minutes away. La Roisere is only 25 minutes. Bourg St Maurice is 15 minutes drive .
There is an 80m open plan room with 4m high ceilings. It has panoramic patio windows with balconies to the south and west. The main room features a modern kitchen, breakfast bar , dining table, large fireplace with plenty of comfortable seating and bean bags. The chalet is finished to a high standard with modern fixtures and fittings. We have included many extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
In the summer there is an additional apartment that sleeps up to 4 and a studio that sleeps to, so you can comfortably add more to your group. they are priced separately.
The owners are located just 10 minutes away in Seez . Hamish is a ski instructor and property renovator, and Tamsin has worked in the chalet business for 20 years. We hope between us that we can answer any question about any aspect of your holiday , from travel advice to ski areas. We are happy to send over lists of whats in the chalet, to help you plan and are even able to take care of making sure your groceries are delivered from the supermarket or to help you find a catering service or chef.
