About St Martin de Belleville
Unlike many other resorts, the Savoyard village of Saint Martin de Belleville has managed to retain its Alpine charm and true French character. Here you get the chance to ski the world's largest integrated ski area while staying in a truly beautiful and charming French village.
Away from the commercialism of the large ski resorts yet fully linked to the Three Valley’s lift system by a speedy eight-seater gondola and fast chairlift. This way you are able to reach the heart of the Three Valleys in no time! Saint Martin has all of the facilities, restaurants, shops and bars visitors would expect to find in any leading modern ski resort; whilst retaining the authentic feel of a traditional French mountain village.
For food lovers the village offers cuisine at all levels; from the Michelin starred to the traditional mountain restaurants. Also there is lots of non-skiing activities in Saint Martin, just see our website for more details!

RESTAURANTS:
St Martin de Bellville is also an 'in demand' destination for many of the skiers from Courchevel and Meribel, which explains the number of exceptionally good restaurants, including the Michelin starred La Bouitte - one of the best restaurants in the Three Valleys. The village also boasts three Michelin listed restaurants; Le Montagnard - serving a fabulous Savoyard menu in an atmospheric converted hayloft, Étoile des Neiges - a smart, traditional restaurant and Le Grenier, in the hotel St Martin, is great for a rather expensive lunch. Four good value restaurants, including the good value and high quality La Voûte, serve everything from salads, to pizzas to fondues ensuring there is something to suit all pockets.
Basically there is a great choice of restaurant that serve everything from traditional Savoyard cuisine to burgers, chips and pizzas!
BARS/PUBS:
If you are looking for Apres-drinks there is a really good choice on the runs down to Saint Martin and in Saint Martin de Belleville itself! For example the restaurant/bar 'La Loy' which you find on the one blue run that winds down to Saint Martin! It serves their special versions of well-known Savoyard specialties and, of course, cheap and good French beer!
Or 'Le Dahlia' which is located on the bottom of Saint Martin gondola where it is great to enjoy a beer or vin chaud in the sun chairs outside!
There is a handful of other lively bars with mostly British staff to be found in the center of Saint Martin including 'Pourquoi-Pas' (The Piano Bar) or 'Le Joker' that host live music as well as karaoke and rock evenings on several nights in the week.
NON-SKIING-ACTIVITIES:
For the non skier there are alternative activities such as: dog sleigh rides to a nearby mill, guided snow shoe walks or you can rent your own and explore the many mountain hamlets. You could treat yourself to a massage or treatment in the spa and beauty center in Saint Martin. The local bus links Saint Martin to Les Menuires where you can relax in the new indoor swimming pool. The lift company sells pedestrian passes which give you access to the beautiful views, such as Mt Blanc or have a meal at a mountain restaurant with your skiing friends. With a pedestrian pass you can easily access Meribel and visit its shops. Saint Martin has two very fine Baroque churches, the Sanctuary of Notre Dame de la Vie and the church of Saint Martin both dating back to the 1600's. We are justifiably known as the village of the 3-valleys.
