This beautiful old farmhouse has been fully renovated to provide a charming ski chalet in the heart of the Valle d'Aosta. Located in Cuneaz at a height of 2057 meters this is the highest working village in the Italian Alps. The village consists of a lovely old church and twenty traditional chalets and links to the 180km of pistes in the Monterosa ski area. The Monterosa ski area is well known for it's excellent on and off pistes skiing. The chalet is located close to the pistes, so you can ski to and from the chalet.
This catered chalet oozes traditional and history with thick stone walls and old wooden beams. The chalet has a spacious living room with a large fireplace and six bedrooms. The chalet has a large terrace with amazing views of the south side of the Matterhorn. In the winter the village and chalet cannot be accessed by car so your luggage will be transported to the chalet by snowmobile. If you are driving then you can park your car at the aerial tramway car park or we can reserve an indoor garage for you just under the tramway. For your time on Cuneaz your mode of transport will be on your skis or on the ski lifts. You can take a ski lift from Champuloc to the chalet which operates from 08:00 to 23:30.
The larger village of Champuloc is just a few kms away and has lively apres ski in the evenings. You can ski from Cuneaz down to Champoluc during the day and you can return on the aerial tramway which stops just 15 minutes from the chalet. If you want to experience genuine Italian cuisine, Champoluc is a good choice, with a range of restuarants, bars, cafes and delicatessens. Perfect if you fancy some local prosciutto or a lively grappa. The local restaurant L’Aroula in Cuneaz itself is also a very tasty option of lunch or dinner (reservations may be required for dinner).

- 5 double bedrooms
- One attic room with 4 single beds. Due to the reduced ceiling height this room is most suitable for children although the 4 beds are full size single beds.
- Large living room with open fireplace
- Separate seating area for up to 10 people with flat screen TV and DVD/Blueray player
- The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, baking machine, espresso machine. toaster and juicer.
Childcare is not available in this chalet due to its location.
