Have a laugh on the Austrian slopes
The 6th annual Altitude Comedy Festival returns to Mayrhofen from the 18th-22nd March. Originally setup in Meribel by Andrew Maxwell and Marcus Brigstocke the festival moved to Mayrhofen in the Austrian Tirol a few years ago due to funding problems in France. Since then it has become one of the most popular winter festivals in the Austrian ski resorts.
This year’s lineup includes top acts John Bishop, Phil Jupitus and Steve Frost. German comedian Michael Mittermeier also joins Craig Campbell, Brendan Burns, Ron Beckett, Keith Farnan and many others.
The organisers are promising several other high profile guest appearances. So if you fancy some fun and laughs in the snow get yourself over the Mayrhofen in the third week of March and enjoy the top comedy lineup.
